Even after its inception, almost three decades ago, the Ayala Alabang Village remains one of the most popular locations. The primary reasons behind its sought after nature are its prime location in the Metro South and the high end facilities that this location offers to its residents. Not to mention, that the recent developments in the region have provided easy access to business districts. This region spans across an expanse of over 700 hectares, making it bigger than any subdivision in the Makai City. One of the most popular locations in the Ayala Alabang Village is the Bird Sanctuary. The sanctuary is home to over 60 different species of birds, though a number of migratory birds also flock to the sanctuary. Presently, there are over 4283 homes, that house over 27, 000 residents. However, there is wide scale construction still going on in the Village, as the company aims at constructing a total of 5500 villages in the Village.
- The Ayala Alabang Village comprises of seven different districts. There are three main gates that provide entry and exit to the area and all three of them are located at the Commerce Avenue. There are thirteen parks in the village, of which mostly are for children. As there are scores of deep wells scattered all over the Village, there is no lack of water resources and hence water supply. Other modern day facilities include cable, electricity and telephone. In addition, the village authorities make constant efforts to improve the internet connectivity in the village. The area is replete with its own public transport network, fire trucks as well as ambulances. Within the walls of the village there are over nine schools along with a church. Ensuring the provision with all possible facilities is the primary responsibility of the Ayala Alabang Village and Barangay Ayala Alabang Association.
